A new post finally after years!!! More to come as a lot of things had happend in my life, a lot of drama and ups and down happened, love hate relationship and more..

to begin with, im no longer a full time student, graduate last year grabbing few awards along the way and now trying to get my life settle down little bit.. kinda hard to juggle, weekdays working and weekends studying.. will try to write more frequent if only i can used my BB to update this blog..hadoih...

yup2,true..
those words always inspired me to be somebody and try to set up my own business..
you spend like so many years in university, do you want to end up working for others??
end up climbing the corporate ladder that was build by someone?
dont you get jealous of that someone?
if he/she can do it,than there's no reason i cant do it..
hehehe...
i know how to boast myself to study for the mid term test..
maybe i can do blog hopping AGAIN but this time focus only on the young and successful entrepreneur or surf the net for something that can ignite myself..

I get this from email circulation of fellow MCOBAs'..

During one of seminars, a woman asked a common question. She said, "How do I know if I married the right person?" I noticed that there was a large man sitting next to her so I said, "It depends. Is that your husband?" In all seriousness, she answered "How do you know?"

Let me answer this question because the chances are good that it's weighing on your mind.

Here's the answer.

EVERY relationship has a cycle. In the beginning, you fell in love with your spouse. You anticipated their call, wanted their touch, and liked their idiosyncrasies.

Falling in love with your spouse wasn't hard. In fact, it was a completely natural and spontaneous experience. You didn't have to DO anything. That's why it's called "falling" in love...

Because it's happening TO YOU.

People in love sometimes say, "I was swept of my feet." Think about the imagery of that __expression. It implies that you were just standing there; doing nothing, and then something came along and happened TO YOU.

Falling in love is easy. It's a passive and spontaneous experience. But after a few years of marriage, the euphoria of love fades. It's the natural cycle of EVERY relationship. Slowly but surely, phone calls become a bother (if they come at all), touch is not always welcome (when it happens), and your spouse's idiosyncrasies, instead of being cute, drive you nuts.

The symptoms of this stage vary with every relationship, but if you
think about your marriage! , you wi ll notice a dramatic difference between the initial stage when you were in love and a much duller or even angry subsequent stage..

At this point, you and/or your spouse might start asking, "Did I marry the right person?" And as you and your spouse reflect on the euphoria of the love you once had, you may begin to desire that experience with someone else. This is when marriages breakdown. People blame their spouse for their unhappiness and look outside their marriage for
fulfillment.

Extramarital fulfillment comes in all shapes and sizes. Infidelity is
the most obvious. But sometimes people turn to work,a hobby, a
friendship, excessive TV, or abusive substances.

But the answer to this dilemma does NOT lie outside your marriage. It lies within it. I'm not saying that you couldn't fall in love with someone else. You could.

And TEMPORARILY you'd feel better. But you'd be in the same situation a few years later. Because (listen carefully to this):

THE KEY TO SUCCEEDING IN MARRIAGE IS NOT FINDING THE RIGHT PERSON; IT'S LEARNING TO LOVE THE PERSON YOU FOUND.

SUSTAINING love is not a passive or spontaneous experience. It'll NEVER just happen to you. You can't "find" LASTING love. You have to "make" it day in and day out. That's why we have the __expression "the labor of love."

Because it takes time, effort, and energy . And most importantly, it takes WISDOM . You have to know WHAT TO DO to make your marriage work.

Make no mistake about it. Love is NOT a mystery. There are specific things you can do (with or without your spouse) to succeed with your marriage.

Just as there are physical laws of the universe (such as gravity), there are also laws for relationships. Just as the right diet and exercise program makes you physically stronger, certain habits in your relationship WILL make your marriage stronger. It's a direct cause and effect. If you know and apply the laws, the results are predictable...you can "make" love.

Love in marriage is indeed a "decision"... Not just a feeling.

"No one falls in love by choice, it is by CHANCE.

This is the summary from a book i read recently, i haven't finished reading it but i will share
the secret of life that i get from the book.
The 1st secret is to love your kin.

Who are the people that can be refer as kin?
Based on Zabrina Zubir, the author of the book entitle 'life is an open secret', kin are the ones whom we called family and relatives, and the list are long,very long as it consist of grandparents, parent,brother,sister,children,grandparents' siblings,grandchildren,great great grandparents,uncles and aunties and their children and their families and the list keep growing..
See how many kins we have in this world??
We're not alone in this world!!!

Here a short story share by their author in this secret no 1, the story was called 'the story of 2 brothers'.

"david received an automobile from his brother as his birthday present. One day when david came out from his office, he saw a young boy admiring his new car. the boy asked him whether that was his car, proudly David replied the car was given by his brother as birthday present. the boy then replied,

"You were lucky, I wish i could be a brother like that".

See, instead of saying i wish i had a brother like that the boy said how he wish he can be a brother like that!!
If it were me, i will without doubt said i wish to have a brother like that.
This story makes me think,how i have been treating my kin so far.
Have i become like david's brother?Do i treat my kin nicely?When did the last time i visit them?When did the last time i called my siblings and my parents?When did the last time i had dinner together with them?

PIT STOP~

Pit stop,what does it really mean??
A pit stop is what you will do to take a short break, to refresh and then go back stronger and better..
This is what happening to CAGERS now..
They need a pit stop, and indeed they're now are having one..
PPM 2009 had just closed it curtain, and its not a sweet outing for CAGERS this time..
CAGERS 09 lose badly to MOZAC and SEMASYHUR and didnt managed to get pass the group level..
They were outplayed and outrun by their opponent,something that rarely been seen since 2004..

Since early this year, abg ise and sir keep telling that CAGERS 09 lack game exposure, experience and size, but what i see during OBW was a team that so fired up to beat any opponent and not afraid of their opponent size.
They were in their top form, stamina, shooting and their game play showed that they are ready to conquer and roar during PPM..
Back then i believed that this year is gonna be CAGERS year again, and the team will be able to reatain the trophy for 6 years in a row despite Abg ise and sir keep telling this year its going to be mission impossible to win the PHT.

It turns out, they were right!!
CAGERS were outplayed by their opponent in the 3rd and 4th game and lose badly and not even qualified for semi, 1st time since 2004...
How painful to see the opponents screaming and the crowd enjoying the moment CAGERS were beaten..
For them to be able to beat CAGERS is like winning the cup itself..
Its something we can be proud of as CAGERS has set a proud tradition and prestige in this tournament..
It is hurt to be on the losing side, Ive experienced that..
2002, CAGERS were beaten in the semi final of North Zone Level and not even qualified to go for the national level, 2003 CAGERS were beaten at the same stage as this year and not qualified for semi in national level..

After 5 years of winning and setting up record for biggest margin in final game, its now time for CAGERS to take their pit stop..
Even Rafael Nadal is taking his own pit stop, after winning 4 times in a row in Roland Garos, this year he was beaten and not even qualified for semi (almost the same story as CAGERS)..
Manchester United also now taking their own pit stop after managed to conquer world and once again the EPL titlt, the were beaten by Barca in the final and failed in thier attempt to retain the Champions League trophy..
Losing is one thing, but what matter the most is how you going to bounce back stronger and better..
All the champion teams has the charisma and attitude to bounce back, and that what CAGERS 2010 need to do, bounce back stronger and stornger and better!!
They have to take back their pride and bring back the cup!!
We bounce back from our defeat in Zone Level in 2002 and managed to win the Zone Level in 2003 but sadly we lost in the National Level..
But again in 2004 we bounce back stronger and won the PHT cup for the 1st time since 1993..
If we can do that, i believe CAGERS 2010 will be able to do the same, you guys are going to bounce back stronger..

I overheard Mr Liew saying, "Those teams who beat CAGERS this year with big margin, they have to pay HEAVILY next year, HEAVILY"..
Those words itself has proved that sir is fired up for next year, and CAGERS 2010 can expect the worse in their training, the 'HELL TRAINING' is back after making its last appearance in 2004!!!
Be fear all the SBP teams, be very fear of CAGERS 2010!!!!
Be prepared for THE RETURN OF THE CHAMPION!!

To CAGERS 09, losing does not mean the end for you guys..
Winning the cup is not all about being a CAGERS..
The journey you've been through, all the moments and times spend together with your teammates, Mr. Liew, abg ise and kak ana, and not to forget all the old boys that keep coming back are extremely precious...
You guys should be proud of to be part of CAGERS family..
The bond and brotherhood will remain forever, and that is the biggest victory for CAGERS..
Be proud, be proud, be proud juniors..
This is just a pit stop, take it positively and bounce back stronger..

I'll try my very best to play my part in it too in the future...

(YES) Challenge

Nature of Event:

The MoneyTree Young Entrepreneur Startup Challenge is focused on helping
future Entrepreneurs launch new ideas that could ultimately be turned into
profitable ventures. This challenge would allow young Entrepreneurs / aspiring
Entrepreneurs to not only learn skills that would sharpen their Entrepreneurial
mindsets, but to also provide them with the opportunity to experience the
practical applications of the Entrepreneurial skills they have acquired through the
MoneyTree Entrepreneur Fast Track program.

Objective of YES Challenge:

To create a platform in which youths aged 17 – 24 are given the opportunity to:
• Acquire the knowledge and skills to start and operate a business
• Have a hands on feel as to what it takes to run a business / project
• Acquire the ability to generate ideas and evaluate their commercial
viability
• Focus on creating a profitable enterprise / venture
• Experience pitching for funds to finance their enterprise

Target Audience / Requirements and Territorial Focus:
i. Youths aged 17 – 24 from Klang Valley (including Seremban), Penang
(including Ipoh) and Johor (including Melaka)
ii. Education: Minimum Form 5
iii. Language Proficiency: Fluent in English
iv. Have attended the MoneyTree Entrepreneur 1-day Fast Track

Program
Mechanics of Challenge:
The nature of this challenge is as close as it can get to the real world of
Technopreneurship / Entrepreneurship. Technopreneur / Entrepreneur aspirants
would be required to not only generate ideas that would attract investors, but to
also follow through to make it into a profitable business / venture.

Detailed mechanics of the YES Challenge:
i. Gather a team of 3 - 4 persons
ii. Attend the MoneyTree Entrepreneur 1-day Fast Track Program
iii. Come up with an idea for a profitable PROJECT, and submit a written
proposal for the project
iv. Proposal would then be submitted to a selected panel to determine the
viability of their ideas and whether it could eventually be carried out
profitably. Panel would also identify the strength and weaknesses of
the plan with the intention of knocking the ideas into shape
v. Projects that can be implemented and completed within 3 – 4 months
are preferred
vi. Teams would be given 15 minutes to present their project / ideas, after
which, a selected panel consisting judges and potential investors will
pose questions to determine whether or not the ideas are concrete
vii. Teams whose projects / business ideas that have been selected will be
given an opportunity to solicit funding from investors
viii. All projects which have been selected will be divided into smaller
portions / shares to enable more investors to participate at a nominal
sum, or at a sum they’re comfortable with (The Maximum amount
allowable to be solicited from investors is RM 25,000)
ix. If investors find an idea that interests them and makes sense to them,
they can decide to invest in that particular project by buying shares in
the venture
x. Each team will be assigned a mentor, who will be responsible for
ensuring that the team implements their plans according to their
milestone goals
xi. Mentors would also supervise the preparation of monthly progress
reports
xii. The panel and mentors would play an advisory role to the teams,
focusing on implementation, strategy and profitability
xiii. Profits would then be divided according to agreed portions as
stipulated in the agreements, after subtracting any declared fees
xiv. Successful ventures will then be guided and supported to apply for
available grants to bring the venture to higher levels

Participating Parties:
MoneyTree has invited a mix of representatives from Government Agencies,
Private Sector and even Private Investors to be part of our panel of Mentors and
Advisors. We also have two Government Agencies, two Education Institutions,
two Corporations and several Independent Entrepreneurs who have agreed to be
Partners with MoneyTree on the YES Challenge.
Timeline: April 17th – Launch and running of the YES challenge in KL.

my six sense is strong!!~

Finally, a weekend to spend with my family..
since february,my weekend always full of activities..
Im not writing much lately,due to what we call as 'peak period',which normally be between JAN-MAY in auditor's life..

This is the period which saw auditor sleep in office,stay in office late till morning for every day,and that include weekend and also public holiday..
sounds ridiculous, people might be asking is it really like that??
at first before i join audit firm,i thought people just making up the story..
but now i can proudly said,its all true as ive been there,done that and experience that..

For the last 2 months i was allocated to audit Multimedia Development Corporation (MDEC) which has couple of subsidiarries..
that is when i get a bit taste of the pressure of being real auditor..
i was asked to handle one subsidiary,which normally people with the rank of AA will handle and not VT like me..
the experience was really not a good one at first,i dont know what to do..
the company account was a mess,their filing system was sucks,documentation and everythings was not in order..
I neeed to dig out information to find out the missing figure and how they come out with the figure and why the figure does not tie with my calculation and where the hide their losses and everythings..
enough said, most of what happend during that time was PnC..
In short,i learnt hell lot during the period..
there are times during that period that i broke down,but thanks to my MMU frens that alway cheer me up and pull me back especially to masyhur,mat rock,steve and radzi..

next week,im going to audit bank islam,this time the period will be for 1 month..
let c what kind of experience it will bring to me..
tabung haji,adidas,taldem,qualitas medical group,bank negara,mdec,time dot com and now bank islam..
the list keep growing and so does the knowledge..

just now i check my fb and there's message from someone asking me few questions..
and now i know,why i wrote my previous writings about the song by hujan,all the answer is there..
about the primary pic on my facebook,the ringtone,the keychain..
that a strong prove that my six sense is still strong,as i somehow know what will happend to me in the future as it has happend like that for a lot of times..

hopefully my next writing will be about summer-love-winter-hate relationship..

EARLY BESDAY CELEBRATION~

Counting the days though it already happend...
Last weekend went back to beloved Muadzam for SIFE OPEN DAY..
The whole day was fun, with the activities been organize and also the amazing race..
Kudus to Nad all her team members for organizing such event..

During the night, they organize a bbq for all sife members..
The turnout was good,I can say more than 50 members came in..
Owh, the MPPs were there also..
Thanks to iZhar, Fathin and Sob for coming to the bbq..
Fathin was good and frenly..
Pity her coz the guys there bully her that night..
She was asked to drink cuka!!
Damn crazy la this people..ahahahaha…
Actually I was suppose to do the same thing, but I managed to ran away and hide..
Very smart ek??NOT!!!!

I saw earlier someone bringing a cake, flour and eggs..
At first I thought that all that to celeb Zaf besday, which suppose to be yesterday (HAPPY BESDAY ZAF)…

Ocay, now is the best part..
I thought the party was over when some of the members walk back..
I came out from my hiding and chat around..
Then Bha all of suddent ask me “dd x panas ke pakai cardigan malam2 nih??bukak laa,biar sejuk sket”..
I thought she just wanna make fun of me for wearing that, so I ignored her..
How stupid of me,I should sense the sign she was given to me…

Just as I was laughing at Bha, this one evil lady@Nad came from behind and smack my back with something..
I thought she was joking,then she smack me for the second time,and this time I knew already about their plan..
She’s holding an egg and she broke it on my back with my new cardigan still on!!!
Within split second, I don’t know who threw it but the flour coming from all angle possible and hit me!!

Then when I was wiping my eyes, his one crazy fella came and smack and broke and egg on my head!! Damn,pls not the head..

Actually they want to make surprise besday celebration for me and zaf, but it seems like im the only one cover with flour and eggs, zaf tak kena pon!!

But still,thanks guys for the surprise besday party.
I really appreciated it..

After one whole day having un with the activities,indeed the besday celebration was the best ending..

1st Outstaion in JB~

Its a bit late for me to wrote about this outstation but still,better late than never..
In the middle of January (i cant remember the exact date :P) I was send to do audit in JB..
My task was to audit this one group of company called Qualitas..
A brief about this group..
This group consist of 38 clinics,policlinics and hospitals..
So basically,im going into the mediccal field for this job allocation..
Doing this job allowed me to know in deep about how to manage a clinic@hospital@policlinic..
I also know about the doctors daily work..

Back to the main topics,we stayed in New York Hotel in Jb..
One thing that shocked us during the 1st night there was the car wash that open for 24 hours!!!
and there are a lot of car wash along the road itselves and all seems attracting customers equally..
What make this car wash different is not only they open for 24 hours, but the concept..
Next to each car wash there will be a restaurant,so its more convenient fort their customers..
They can have their car wash while they dine and relax (poyo jer bunyik)

The 1st outstation aws a good memory,together with effil and noah haris with spend the whole week depending too much on GPS (as it was the 1st time for all of us in JB)
I dont feel lkike writing a lot about this..
But to sum up the 1st outstation,it was great mainly because i went there with effil and noah haris..
owh,effil was from SAS and noah Haris was from SDAR..
And since the 3 of us came from the same background,i guest maybe thats the reason why we click together so well..
we do share alot of good memories with GPS in Jb (dont trust GPS :P)

AUDITOR WILL NEVER BE A PERFECT BOYFRIEND~

I know, the title might sound a bit of an insult to auditors@accounting students out there who planned to pursue their career in auditing, or joining any audit firm and finally become an ‘AUDITOR’ but seriously, I don’t mean to insult those mention above, it just im writing this base on my experience, and what I’ve seen, listen and heard stories from others

Basically now im doing my internship in one of the big 4 audit firm, so ive been mixed up a lot with auditors and unlucky for me, now is what all the auditors called peak period. Peak period is when all the companies need to close their account and is where the auditors need to audit their financial statements and produce audit report, and that what normally what the auditor will do, AUDIT. But what lies behind the words is the one that scared people from becoming auditor or the main reason why I said auditor will never be a perfect boyfriend.

The truth reveal, what lies behind the word of auditor that scared people is their WORKLOAD. Bullshit if people said that auditor’s salary if low, coz what I know senior auditor can afford to drive brand new mini cooper, and that’s only senior not even at the rank of assistant manager or manager or senior manager or head of department or exec director or partner!! See, can u imagined if u become a partner, what type of car can u drive?? Auditor is indeed super damn rich. Back to our main topic, why auditor cant be a perfect boyfriend, the main reason is because like I said just now their workload. Imagine like this, a whole year transaction for a company, an auditor need to audit all of it within a certain short period of time. In order to audit all those records, transaction and financial statements, auditors need to go through more than 100 files!! Can u imagined, to complete TOC (test of control) which auditors need to select samples, the auditors need to go through all files available in the filing room!! I’ve been to ADIDAS and they had like a mountain of files, maybe because they also had office in other countries as well. But ADIDAS can be consider as medium size company, can u imagined if u need to audit big size company?? Normally for audit planning, auditor need to complete it within 2 weeks, and after finish with the first company, there goes another one and the list keep on getting longer and longer. No rest for auditors. What make matter even worse if u get a client@company that was so fu**ing not organized their transaction, filing and data all mess up. One word, DIE lol for the auditor. To add more suffering to auditors is when the client don’t give full co-operation, u request for some documents then after a week will u be able to get what u have requested, and at the same time u only left with less than a week before due date. The manager also can be a headache for auditors, the manager can simply shorten the audit period or make it earlier for the due date. See, auditors have to suffer to complete their task.

Because of the overload task and workloads, the auditors normally have to spend most of their times patiently and with passion (really??) completing their task. So, when people said auditors have no life, its true. Some of my officemate also stayed late in the office, even sleep in the office during night! Owh, don’t forget that even during weekend and public holiday auditors also have to work. Crazy is it??Thats the life of an auditor and the reason why auditor can’t be a perfect boyfriend. There u goes, no life for auditors only their never ending workload.

True story, one of my cliques here has broke up three times within 2 years as auditor till he finally give up on having a relationship as long as he still an auditor. Reason being given by his ex-s, he rarely spend time with them. Even weekend also he had to go to office, owh on public holiday as well. The girl keep complaint she feel like she dot even have a bf as her bf can not spend time with her, a single night for dinner also seems impossible for an auditor during the peak period. But im not saying that all auditors will stay single till they died. There are still auditors out there who happily get married or having a healthy relationship with their love one. And im currently trying to figure out the best type of soul mate for auditors. Perhaps maybe in some other time I’ll be able to write about the criteria that will best suit for auditor’s life partner.

And there you goes,the main reason why auditors will never be a perfect boyfriend. To all the girls out there, if u think that u wont take much time or dont need so much attention from ur other half, then auditor will without doubt be the best partner for u. But i doubt if ever those type of girls still exist. Till then, to all my fellow accounting students and auditors, try to get a life!!~ :P

howdy..
2008 is now history,lets sum up what i had done for the last few weeks back in 2008..
ive done 2 stock takes now,one in TH Computer and another one in Taldem Holdings..
talk about Taldem,basically its a company which produce varieties of woods..so u can imagined what kind of stocks that i need to count..
well,first time experience for me to be in a warehouse full of timbers..
i even have to climb to check whether the amount they recorded is actually the same with the one written on the stack..
Besides doing stock take,ive been to 2 companies,ADIDAS and TIME DOT COM..
i like the working environment in ADIDAS where all the staff are free to where whatever they like to come to office.
basically,most of them will wear ADIDAS brand of clothes,which i found out some of the shoes and jacket that they are wearing cant be find in ADIDAS outlet..
yeah,its rare item,of course since it was sample only..
the benefits being ADIDAS staff is that you can buy the samples,which is rare and not available in ADIDAS outlet..
plus you can they buy them in very cheap price!!!
a pair of ADIDAS shoes will cause minimum RM200 in their outlet,but do you know how much is the cost exactly??
hell,you'll be damn shocked if you found out how super duper cheap their cost is!!!
talking about TIME DOT COM,i somehow regret why did i offered myself to senior to help him with that company..
for the whole week,i went back from work at 10pm!!
tiring,but gain lot of new knowledge..
but still,TIME DOT COM is not the company you would like to work,or maybe just me..
the environment is totally different compare to ADIDAS and KPMG..
the reason being,there are all Malays working there (no harm to Malays)..
but one thing i found out,if the office has majority of Chinese,then u'll learnt alot more..
Plus,you get to improve your english as you have to speak in english to communicate with them..
so my advise,work in an office that have mix races.. :)

let see,what else have i been doing ..

yeah,i now can play pool!!thanks to my sifu masyhur and mat rock..
owh,not to forget steve (u lost to me twice,loser steve AHAHAHAHAH)
two consecutive nights ive been in ASIAN CLUB from 9p.m. till 4a.m. just to play pool..

yeah,after month of not blogging now time to update..
now ive started my internship at KPMG..
ive been assigned to be in audit department k,which is the most happening department..
for audit department k,KPMG stand for Keep Party More Guys!!!
ahahaha,sounds cool aite??i LOVE AUDIT K..
there were 80 interns who report on 1Dec as me,and shockingly 2/3 of them are overseas student and i think around 10 are local students..
u can imagined how my tongue going to be twisted everyday as i need to speak and try to understand different dialect..hehehe..
all interns at KPMG were given a laptop each so that its easier for us to do our work..

life in audit firm at first was little bit hard to adapt..
after 2 weeks working i can easily count with fingers how many times only i get to see rysa my department mate eventhough she was seating just close to me..
see how busy being an auditor??hehehe...
but after few days,hey i really like being an auditor..
people were right when they said auditor has no social life,its all about work and work..
but one thing they didnt know is that,we auditor still get to social,and have fun a lot....
for example,audir department K,we do party a lot..hehehehe..

about my work,i've been send to audit Tabung Haji..
on my second day at work my senior asked me to follow her to Tabung Haji,to do audit..

PUZZLE OF LIFE~

Playing puzzle can sometimes create headache.. To nicely fit each and every pieces to form one complete picture, or in the case of puzzle of life, to complete assembling all the pieces that has been scattered and fit them nicely together.. But there will always be one missing piece that you must search throughout your life to find it.. Some might get lucky to easily find it but for others it takes years of searching and maybe whole life searching for the missing piece to complete their puzzle of life.. Sometimes you might think that you have found the right piece but somehow after trying and trying it just don’t want to fit the hole.. Then you have to leave the ‘unfit’ piece and started to search again for the new one who can fit the hole nicely.. in this entry I would like to congratulate my brother firdaus aslam ali @ ferd for being the first amongst us all batch 0004 to finally found the last missing piece to complete his puzzle of life..

This entry is tribute to my brother ferd@firdaus aslam ali who get married on the 8th of October 2008.. Big congratz bro for finally found the last piece to complete your puzzle of life.. Envy you, amongst us all you are the one who break the barrier and move to the next round.. I bet all of us quite shock to know that you finally now a MAN, more than that a HUSBAND to someone special to you.. I still remember we keep talking and asking this favorite question, “korang raser saper antara budak-budak batch kite yang akan kawin dulu?”..then came out the names that have potential to get married early.. hud kechek,arelong,mao, those are the few names (no offence to mao,arelong,hud) and yours is not even mention.. Who would expect you to be the pioneer (in term of marriage life) in our batch..i still remember ‘lepak’ in UM with u,mubeen,iezwan,mao n others way back in 2005,back then you was sooooooo cheerful and so childish..3 years after that, you already someone’s husband..Wondering whether you are still the same ferd that I knew,the one I that I knew in koleq who would be ‘sekepale’ with me in some issue..hehehe… The one that will talk naughty things with me and masyhur..the one we used to call ‘murtabak ali’ or ‘carpet’..I miss having you in the same class..5 Sc2 was the best..we had sooo much fun together throughout the year though we know SPM is waiting for us in the end..owh not to forget our beloved class teacher cikgu rizal yang tiap kali masuk kelas akan bawak pembaris panjang takpon besi panjang…pastu buat-buat garang and nak nak bantai semua orang..hehehe,those were the days we laught a lot.. AUDIT CHAPTER 9~

3 papers before stairways to heaven..hehehe..cant wait for the 'merdeka' day..but nevertheless within my busy exam schedule still i'm going to post yet another entry ablut audit,chapter 9:audit materiality..this post dedicated to cik reena,sorry cant make it to further explain to u bout this chapter..here goes the entry..

basically this chapter touch on 5 major parts that u need to know and understand in details..first is about defining the meaning of materiality..we can define materiality as magnitude of accounting infotmation, in the judegement of the person relying on it,the information might be misstatement or not..The information or the statement is consider material if the omission or misstatement will result in the negative impact in decission making...

second part,about steps needed in applying materiality..there are 5 steps that u need to know in applying materiality..the FIRST ONE being to set preliminary judgement about the materiality..this step need to be done before starting the audit process..auditors need to decide the combining amount of tolerable misstatement or level of materiality that they might consider..the judgement will vary over time so auditor must document their judgement..SECOND STEP is to allocate the amount to segments..auditors must allocate the judgement they make earlier to each segments they think necessary..the amount can not be used as a whole as it might get complex in later stage..difficuties arise in segmenting are because of level of materiality in each segments vary,auditor need to consider the overstatement and understatement of each accounts, and also the relative cost of audit affect the allocation..THE THIRD,FOURTH AND LAST STEPS is to accumulate and compare with the preliminary judgement..this last step is done after the audit process..

third part about this chapter is the qualitative factors in determining meteriality..the factors are AMOUNT INVOLVING FRAUD,IMMATERIAL BUT WITH CONTRACTUAL OBLIGATION AND THE LAST ONE BEING IMMATERIAL BUT MAY EFFECT TREND IN EARNINGS..no further elaborations about this one..sorry...

the fourth part is about the base needed for evaluating materiality..there are NET SALES,GROSS PROFIT AND TOTAL ASSETS..again no further elaboration..

the last part being risk types..there are 4 type of risks that mention in this chapter..the first one is PLANNED DETECTION RISK..this risk is about the percentage of audit evidence will fail to detect the misstatement..low planned detection risk means that more accumulated evidence is needed by auditor..next one is INHERENT RISK..this risk is about making assumtion that there are misstatement eventhough before testing the effectiveness of the internal control..high inherent risk means that the statement is likely to be misstatement..the third risk in CONTROL RISK..this risk have unique relationship with inherent risk..control risk is about the effectiveness of the internal control..if the Internal control is effective then it means low control risk,low inherent risk,high planned detection risk and less audit accumuated audit evidence is needed..the last risk is ACCEPTED AUDIT RISK @ AUDIT ASSURANCE..risk that auditor going to accept the financial statement is misstated..

AUDIT CHAPTER 3~

2 Days without blogging due to my eyes got problem..But still,because of it i got the time to fully focus on my study eventhough with one eyes closed(saket sgt)..Back to business,i will summarize another chapter of audit,was thinking to do for other subjects as well but depends on how much free time i have..

Basically audit chap 3 is about the audit report..audit report is issued by auditor after the finished auditing the company's financial statement..there are few types of report produced by auditor,unqualified audit report(UAR),unqualified audit report but with explanatory para,qualified audit report,adverse and disclaimer..the report is produced depending on the level of materiality..

for unqualified report, there are 7 parts that myst be included..:

1. Report title,must contain the word independent to convey to users that the auditor are independent party.

2.Address to whom,mostly the BOD and shareholders..

3.Intro para,must include intro about the company,list of financial statement that has been audit, and also statement's of responsibility that require auditor to express oppinion..

4.Scope of para,must include what the auditor did..

5.Oppinion para,state the conclusion based on the audit..

6.name of CPA,state the CPA name..

7.date,the date the audit report was produced...

for the standard unqualified report to be issued by auditor,the audit result should hit all the criterias :

1.all statements are included in the financial statements

2.the 3 general steps are followed closely

3.suffiecience appropriate evidence has been accumulated

4.financial statement are prepared according to GAAP

5.no circumstances requiring more explanation para

the unqualified audit report but with explanation para is issued when the audit think that there is a need to explain on few things..the report is unqualififed,but due to perhaps changes in accounting policies has make it necessary for the auditor to add the explanatory para..another reason is that the auditor doubt about the going concern of the company..

a disclaimer and adverse report is used when the level of materiality is high..adverse oppinion is used when auditor believe the statement is highly material and not fairly stated(means there are missing part of it) and this could only arise if the auditor has knowledge about this after investigation..disclaimer oppinion is issued when the content of statement is highy material and the auditor cant satisfied himself and would not issued oppinion about the statement,this can arise without auditor's knowledge compare to adverse..

about materiality,how to measure the level of materiality is subjective..as long as it does not effect decission laregely then it is consider immaterial or material but if its effect the decission badly then it is consider as highly material..

basically,thats the brief info about audit chap 3..i'll write again on other chapters as well..

PLATONIC RELATIONSHIP~

I was about to turn off my study light and off to bed when a picture on my table caught my attention. A picture of me with minnie, taken last year somewhere in June. Every year, the period from June-August will be the best period in the year. I'm not going to tell more about it now, what im going to write is about the platonic relationship, opposite sex can be super best friend without involved feeling.. Is it true??Do i believe in that??

Do guy and girl can be best friend without involved feeling and sincerely just be best friend?

When you get close to your best friend which is the opposite sex of yours, you tend to care bout her..Then slowly, noticed or unnoticed a strange feeling towards her will slowly grow..A weird feeling to have her more than just a close friend,perasaan ingin memiliki dan mencintai :p...
Then, you started to act awkwardly and thus break the rule of friendship,never fall for your bestfriend..

From an article that I read before, this kind of relationship can only be happened in 3 condition..

First, either that guy is gay or that girl is lesbian, it works eitherway..hehehe...no offence to anyone.Next is that when that guy think that woman whom he bestfriended is not attractive or not hot enough, in short that girl is damn ugly and hell fat and it also goes the reverse way for a girl whom bestfriended a guy..again,no offence..The last one is that when that guy feel inferior towards that girl whom he bestfriended because that girl is too high standard and it also work the reverse way for a girl opinions..I still don't understand about the this one. How come when a guy feel inferior then he can become close friend with that girl without involve the loving doving feeling??

But honestly for me,I believed that such relationship do exist and can be happened..But in order to make that happend,both party have to sacrifise and suffer.Yes,you will fall for your bestfriend,surely that thing going to happend when you get too intimate with your opposite sex. But,DO NOT CROSS THE FRIENDSHIP LINE..Keep that feeling to yourself,tough to do right??
But again,If you are sincere and honest to be friend with that person,then you must know your border and limit..Try your very best not to fall for her..

Never cross the friendship line and maintain the beauty of being bestfriend to each other..There are things that you can only share with your bestfriend and not your love one..wink2..hehehe...

But that just my opinion, I don’t know about yours. I have experienced this,and i know how does it feel.But someone told me about this,'there is nothing greater than a great romance to destroy the beauty of friendship' :) .. I think I'm going to watch 'A lot like love' after this or play a mocca song, 'on the night like this' and let it play untill i fall asleep :) ..Miss u minnie~

When i woke up today, there were two unread messages appeared on my hp. One from nina at 6.30 am and one from nadzirah at 7.05 am..Message from nina was a normal message but the one from nadz told the different thing..Condolence to nina who both grandparents passed away at 7.00 am..I know final is so near, but i do know that you are strong..Don't crumble and break down,be strong coz you have to..Like i told you,even when your brother not around you still have great friends around you that will help to pull you up and through your tough period.I don't feel like posting update on what i have learned today..have a safe journey coming back to Muadzam tomorrow.. Al Fatihah to nina's grandparents...

I AM NOT A SUPERHUMAN~

AS mention earlier, there are a lot of thigns happend to me tonight, there are mix combination of good, not so good and sweet things. The not so good things is about this one girl. She gave me back the book which i gave it to her. Brief about this girl, i used to have a crush on her, but that was in the past. I gave her the book for her to use it as she's taking that subject this semester. When she gave it back, i knew she still not matured as final exam is near and she really need that book for her study. Reason she gave it back is simple, we had some misscommunication and thats it. Being ' a bit emotional and ego' she make her own decission. But nevertheless, i will return the book back to her as i want her to use it for her final. After final, up to her what to do with the book. And one more thing, i really hope we can get along well and chill out together again though things between us are not the same as we used to be and we're not as closed as before.

The good thing happend is that i managed to cover 2 topics of AFA tonight eventhough i had distraction and emotionally unstable a bit. Quite an achievement for me. Hope tomorrow i will be able to cover more topics and stay focus on my final.

The sweet thing that happend is that i got a gift from MALINA!She gave me a shirt with words written on it, 'I am not a superhuman'. She used to say that to me to remind me that i cant do all the things alone and i cant handle all things alone. yeah,have to admit it. Thats why I'm lucky to have you supporting me and be there when i need you. Thanks Malina for the shirt and for being such a sweet friend. Thank you...

KNOWLEDGE FOR THE DAY, AUDIT CHAP 10~

Meet again guys. Phew, what a night. A lot of things did happen tonight to the extent I almost become emotionally unstable. Well don’t want to talk about that for now. Final mood is in the air and let me recap back what I have learned or managed to a least get some knowledge today.

Well, I began earlier in the morning today compare to yesterday. I woke up at 7.30, then after performing subuh prayer (ehem.. J) then straight away to my study desk. Continue reading audit, this time chapter 10, Internal Control. Basically this chapter is more complex compare to the previous one. System of internal control consist of policies and guidelines to provide management with reasonable assurance for the company to achieve its goals. The broad objectives of Internal Control (IC) are as followed :

1. Reliability of financial reporting, prepare according to standard

2. Efficient and effective operations

3. Compliance with laws and regulations, section 404 of SOX required all auditors to report about the effectiveness of the client internal control

Below are the different between management responsibility and auditor’s responsibility..

1. Management responsibility, establish and maintain the IC and also as required by Sec 404 to publicly report on the effectiveness of the IC

2. Auditor’s responsibility, understand and test the IC and as required by sec 404 report the effectiveness of IC

Below are the key concept in designing IC :

1. Reasonable assurance, should design IC that provide reasonable but not absolute assurance

2. Inherent limitation, IC effectiveness depends on the competency of the people using it.

Committee of sponsoring organization is a framework to use by US to measure the effective level of internal control. Basically there are 5 elements under COSO that was design and implement in order to provide reasonable assurance to management. The 5 elements are as followed :

1. Control environment
-Consist of actions, policies, and procedures that reflect the top management view on the importance of IC.
-the subcomponents are integrity and ethics, commitment to competence, audit committee participation, management philosophy, organizational structure and HR policies and practices.

2. Risk assessment
-Analyze risk that relevant to preparation of financial statement and reflect accordingly and in effective way

3. Control activities
-Types of control activities:
a) Adequate separation of duties
b) Proper authorization of transaction
c) Adequate documents and reports
d) Physical control and assets report
e) Independence checks on performance

4. Information and communication
-Initiate record, process and report entity transaction and maintain accountability of related asset.

5. Monitoring
-Deal with ongoing periodic assessment of the quality of IC by management to determine that IC is operated accordingly.

Because of the complexity of this chapter, that is all I can summarize. I don’t want to summarize further because I’m afraid that I might provide the wrong information. Next after audit I managed to flip through few chapters of AFA, the piecemeal and the complex group structure. Brief information about those two topics as its difficult for me to write everything that I know regarding those topics. What you guys need to know about the chapter piecemeal is how to deal with the intra group transaction between subsidiaries to the parent. Remember to minus the unrealized profit for the current year under the post-acq in the interest for the subsidiaries. I bet you guys can’t imagined how to do it, so no short way you have to read the textbook to know more about how to deal with the transaction. I think it is not appropriate for me to blog about AFA since it is more complex and need details explanation together with example and timeline. So my advice, open the textbook and read pages by pages :).

AUDIT CHAPTER 5~

Blogging time!! Hehehe.. please people don’t tell me that I need to study for my final.. I finally found a way to fully make used of my blog in this final exam fever.. I’m going to blog on what I have learned to day, in a way I’m going to recap back the topics I have studied.

My failure to finished up reading economy last night has been write off with my success of completing my first chapter in audit, auditor’s legal liability, chapter 5 (thank you2) J.. My day began at 10 a.m. straight away washed my face and brushed my teeth then put my lazy ass on my study chair. I have to complete at least one chapter of audit this morning.. Last night failure still haunted me. Hehehe, determination is important..

The textbook that we used

Chapter 5

Basically chapter 5 is all about as the title mention auditor’s legal liability.. Under common laws, auditor have responsibility to fulfill contract with clients and honor it.. the failure to do so makes auditor liable to be charged as breach of contract not only by clients and also the 3rd party under the statutory law.. The 3 famous term used in this chapter is business failure, audit failure and also audit risk.

1. Business failure -occur when business is unable to repay back lender or meet investors’ expectation because of poor management.

2. Audit failure - occurs when auditor issued incorrect audit opinion because it failed to comply with the auditing standard.

3. Audit risk - possibility that auditor wrongly about the financial statement, when there are possibility that they are materially misstated.

Basically audit risk is unavoidable.. Because today nature of business which required all companies to involved in complex transaction there are possibility that the financial statements is being manipulated.. And every time when something unpleasant regarding financial statement took placed it was auditor who being blame.. This kind of thing shouldn’t happened (back up auditor as I’m one of the future auditors) The perception that auditor is the guarantor and guarantee the accuracy of financial statement should be changed. There is one concept which was called ‘PRUDENT PEOPLE CONCEPT’, this concept is about an agreement between auditor and the court that auditor will conduct the auditing with due care and follow the auditing standard but there is no such things as expecting the audit to be perfect and free from error. This concept has been used as shield or defense by auditors, which I will explain more further down my writings.

There are two should I called legal terms that attract me. First is joint and several liability. Example of this situation is that auditor can be assessed the entire loss to shareholders if the company is bankrupt and management is unable to pay the debt. This one is soooo unfair!! Why should auditor’s carry the blame?? Dah la fees untuk audit process so cheap, then when you have to pay millions in RM as remedies to the shareholders?? Huh.. The next legal term is Separate and proportionate liability, meaning that if the court determine on 30% of losses is due to auditors’ fault then auditors only need to pay 30%.. This sounds way better than the first one.. J

There are four ways on how auditor can defend themselves from being charged in court :
1. Lack of duty
-CPA firm can claim that they did not offer such services to the company. CPA can used the engagement letter as prove, thus this make the engagement letter one of vital part in doing auditing.
-Example of the situation, a client sue a CPA firm for the misstatement in the receivable ledger, and CPA can claim that they are not responsible in preparing the ledger. They can used engagement letter to further support their claim. Engagement letter carries the duties responsible by the auditors, duties responsible by the clients and a lot more agreement regarding auditing the client.

2. Non negligence performance
- CPA firm can claim that they has done the audit according to the standard auditing. Even a if a fraud is detected, the blame can’t be put on auditors if the auditors follow the standard accordingly.
- Like the prudent people concept, auditor is not a guarantor and do not expect perfection in them doing auditing.
- Audit are done base on auditing standard and subject to limitation and can’t be realized as complete assurance that all misstatement will be found.

3. Contributory negligence
- Exist when auditor claim that clients action resulted in the loss of their business or clients interference while conducting the audit was the cause of the losses.
- For example, if the losses happened because of the weakness in the internal control system and the management has the chance to fix it but they don’t, then the fault should not be put on the auditors. Auditor has the right to used this to get away from being charged by their clients.

4. Absence of causal connection
- To be able to succeed in action against auditor, client must showed that damages they suffered are because of the auditor’s failure In following the auditing standard.
- Example, auditor failed to complete audit on time and this resulted in a bank not to renew their loan with the company and this has cause huge damages to the company.
- Auditor can get away from being charged if they defense themselves by saying that the bank did not renew the loan because of the weaknesses in the financial report of the company which got nothing to do with the auditor and them doing auditing.

Under the liability to 3rd party which include potential and actual shareholders, bankers, vendors and creditors, CPA firm are liable to be sue by these group of parties. But under ultamares doctrine, ordinary negligence is insufficient for liability to 3rd party because of lack of privity of contract between 3rd party and the auditor. Meaning that, only 3rd party that involved in signing the engagement letter are liable under the 3r party. But the world is so jealous of the auditor. Under the foreseen users, any member of limited class of users that the auditor know will depend on the financial statement can be treated as 3rd party which this has make them liable to sue the auditor if any losses occur. Pity the auditor, why can’t the rest of the world just give some space for the auditor to breath?? Haih..

Basically that’s conclude the chapter 5 in audit subject that will come out in the final exam. I will write more if I had the time to study tonight. I need to rush to SIFE meeting for orang asli project, and before that need to pick up malina as harmoni. Owh, I think someone will verbally attack me during the meeting as I’ve been avoiding her since last night. Err, not exactly avoiding it just she didn’t called at the right time J . Let see what she’s going to say tonight. The boat has started moving!!!

Here I am again, blogging.. Yeah I know, at this time I should be cracking my brain study for my final exam which is in one week time. But I can’t resist the temptation of blogging (nak wat camner baru belajar bloging).. Ocayh, since my last post till now I’ve been trying to fully focused on my Malaysian economic reading (takut ngan sukimannyer pasal). But yeah you know, distraction always there for you..hehehehe.. My roommate asked me to company him to highway to buy burgers and charger.. Quote from what Dato Khalid said, “human greatest achieving is managing their own greed”, and I failed tonite in managing my greed. Despite eating like mad at poksu’s house, my greed still are not satisfied and thus I followed my roommate to highway and yes, I did bought a burger for me.. Then at Petronas I met malina and ajai, both were busy looking for firas’s besday present (happy besday to u).. I did promote to malina my new blog :) ..

Coming back to my room again, ate the yummy burger and back to my study table focusing and determine to finish up reading economics, financial crisis. But yet again DISTRACTION seems so jealous of me. Reminder put your hand phone on silent while study so that you won’t noticed any incoming call or message. I was texting someone while study and one of her message annoyed me. She asked me to call her, but the way she did it seems like she’s ordering me!! And I hate to take order.. I did reply her sms with some friendly advise :P .. I know, maybe I shouldn’t do that, sorry if u felt offended, I know your mad at me..

The sms incident bothers me a lot, I can’t stay focus reading economy, plus with another distraction from kirin, his listening to some good songs, how can I still stay focus??!! Hehehe.. Just want to share a photo taken while we were listening to the songs.. Owh, I like the numbers and perhaps it can be my wedding date :P..

BERCINTA IBARAT MENAIKI BAS~

Meet again.. :) Im not going to write something, just an old article in my older blog which i like.. Enjoy reading this..

"Bila bas tu datang, awak nengok bas tu dan awak kata pada diri awak, "Eee… penuhnya… tak de tempat duduk." Jadik, awak katakan pada diri awak, "Saya akan tunggu bas yg lain." Awak pun biarkan bas tu berlalu dan awak tunggu pulak bas yg lain. Kemudian, datang pulak bas yg kedua. Awak nengok bas tu dan awak akan cakap, "Eee… bas ni buruk sgt… mesti tak selesa. Dan mungkin bas ni akan rosak kat tengah jalan." Jadi, awak pun biarkan bas buruk tu berlalu dan awak bercadang untuk tunggu bas yang seterusnya. Setelah beberapa ketika, datang lagi sebuah bas. Bas yg datang tu kosong, tak penuh dan tak seburuk bas yg tadi tapi kali ni awak kata, "Emmm… tak de air-cond… cuaca pulak panas. Lebih baik saya tunggu bas yg lain." Dan sekali lagi awak biarkan bas tu berlalu dan awak bercadang utk menanti bas yg seterusnya. Tiba-tiba awan mula gelap, cuaca semakin mendung dan baru awak perasan yg awak pula dah terlambat rupanya. Awak mula panik dan terus naik bas yg datang ketika itu, walaupun bas itu tak sebegitu sempurna. Dan kemudian barulah awak sedar bahawa… awak dah naik bas yg salah. Jadi, selama ni awak dah membazir banyak masa dan wang untuk menunggu apa yg awak nak. Walaupun yg datang tu adalah bas yang berair- cond, adakah awak dpt pastikan bahawa bas tu tak akan rosak di tengah jalan atau mungkin bas tu tak terlalu sejuk untuk awak? Jadik, mengingini apa yg awak idamkan tu memang tak salah. Tapi, tak salah juga kalau anda sanggup memberi satu peluang pada orang lain, kan? Sekiranya awak dapati "bas" itu tak sesuai dengan awak, apa yg perlu awak lakukan hanya tekan loceng dan turun daripada bas tu. Tapi… saya pasti awak semua tentu ada pengalaman yg macam ni. Awak nampak sebuah bas datang (tentulah bas yg awak nanti-nanti kan), awak tahan bas tu tapi pemandu bas tu pulak buat tak faham dan pura-pura buat tak nampak awak dan terus berlalu tinggalkan awak! Bila ada bas yang lalu melintasi saya macam tu, apa yang saya lakukan ialah BERJALAN! Bodoh sebenarnya untuk mengejar bas tu sebab setiap kali, awak akan terjatuh dan menyakiti diri awak sendiri. Jadi, bercinta tu adalah ibarat menunggu bas, sama ada awak nak naik dan beri peluang pada bas tu… semuanya terpulang pada diri awak. Dan bila awak berjalan, awak sebenarnya cuba melarikan diri daripada cinta!"

Finally after months of doing blog hopping and reading others blog (mostly on politics), i have the guts to enter the world of blogging and become one of the blogger (am i??).. hehehe, sounds funny for me to be a blogger but i will try to write as frequent as possible regardless of any topics..

What am I going to write in my first post.. herm.. let see… Looking back at reading others blogs and stories, I had so much ideas, and so much to write. But now I know the feeling of the hardship and the creativity you need to write something.

I start with what I have done today. Basically life start as normal weekend for me except for during the evening. My housemate of 4 years (quite long is it?) told me that his uncle invited us to go ‘beraya’ at his placed which just nearby. Such offer that I will never rejected, in fact makan free saper x nak!!hehehe… Plus this raya, I don’t even get the chance to eat lemang, ketupat, rending and many other delicious food that can onle be seen during raya. Yeah I know, quite lame aite? But what to do, I was in Singapore during hari raya.. Pity me…

Back to the story, Moksu served us with hell lot of food.. There are rending daging yang sangat sedap, homemade roti jala, kari ayam dalca, mee goreng mama (sebab rasa macam mama goring,miss mama), pudding bandung, nasi impit and varieties of biskut raya and kerepek. Thanks poksu and moksu!!

Owh, someone just miscall me.. How I miss the ringtone, it has been almost a month since I heard my phone ringing with that person name appear on it.. Hope for a better ‘restart’ to our relationship. Mind my first post, I will try to improve my writings in the future. Hopefully I can be better writer in my future
